Caught in a Taiwan Typhoon + Surprise Act of Kindness
We started our day with delicious breakfast in Taiwan (台灣). Think dumplings, turnip cake, steamed buns, and milk tea. Yum! A surprise act of kindness while we were eating really got our day off on the right foot. People in Taiwan are so kind. We also got caught in a typhoon! We had planned to visit the Yehliu Geopark but it was closed due to large waves caused by the typhoon. We stopped at the beach to marvel at the water crashing against the rocks in a spectacular fashion. In the distance, we could see the abandoned Wanli UFO Village which is one of the coolest places we’ve ever been. Click here to see the video we made exploring there on our last trip to Taiwan. Since the geopark was closed, we went to the Juming Museum which is a totally unique place. Juming is a famous Taiwanese artist whose work has been exhibited around the world in places like New York, London, and Paris. It’s incredible to see his exact vision come to life at the the Juming Museum.
We're delighted to collaborate with Asia Now on this press trip to explore South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, and Taiwan. Big thank you to @visitkorea @VisitSingapore @TourismPhilippines @anytimefortaiwan
